Remember how I said I was going to continue the
hunt for the perfect steak in Sydney? If Mad Cow doesn’t serve the
perfect steak, then I don’t even know. I ordered the Wagyu steak with bearnaise sauce, and broccolini and french fries with herbs as sides.

The reason I ordered this particular type of steak is because the portion is just right for me (200 g), instead of the other variations of meat that are 400g ++ . Maybe it’s because the wagyu meat is rich enough that people aren’t able to consume large amounts of it.

Upon receiving our meals, the waitress advised us to cut against the fibers of the meat, that way the taste would be more prominent. I don’t know if that really made any difference, but the steak was very good. Better than the one in Jean Claude’s . Yes it was.
We ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert and it wasn’t anything special. Mostly because they served it with nougat-flavored ice cream. I am not a big fan of them peanuts.

- Food: Delicious steak. Perfect portion.
- Place: Located in one of the hidden alleyways of George St. , very exclusive
- Price: About $30 for a steak, if I’m not mistaken. Pretty good, huh?
- Overall: I give it a 4 out of 5, I’ve only positive reviews for the steak, so I don’t want to mislead people by ranking it higher in account of the other dishes.
